Cabin rental

Just built! Bright, new and spacious private cabin onsite our working organic vegetable farm. Experience the slower pace of life in the country, overlooking 10 acres of growing fields, rolling hills and cedar forest.  A perfect weekend getaway from the city, a quiet writer/artist retreat or experience what it's like to live on a farm.

This 340 square foot cabin is great for a couple or small family.  Open concept and bright, the cabin is located at the back of the property so you'll have plenty of privacy.  Attached is another 120 square feet of screened in porch with rocking chairs, to enjoy the sunrise. A short walk through the gardens will take you to our small pond and throughout the property you will see a wide variety of fruit and nut trees to encourage birds and other wildlife.

Enter the cabin where you'll find a small kitchenette with mini fridge, toaster and coffee maker. There is also access to a propane bbq and hot plate if you would like to cook during your stay.  Beside the kitchenette, a vintage table and chairs can be used as dining or workspace, with a view of the woods. At the back of the cabin there is a queen sized bed with linens included,  dressers for your belongings and a small flat screen tv. Wifi is available for your use at the common picnic area, but it does not reach the cabin. The cabin is insulated and heated, a cozy retreat in the fall and winter months as well.

Private outhouse washroom beside the cabin. Access to newly built, outdoor cedar solar shower. Please note that there is no running water in the cabin, but we do supply a large glass water dispenser for drinking and washing.
