It's ok to skip a basket pick up!
However, you must let us know via email at least 48 hours in advance of pick up, before we harvest your vegetables. You can take two baskets another week, take store credit for our online store, pre-arrange to pick up a basket on another CSA day (any location) or at one of the farmers' markets that we serve.
When you email us, let us know the date you will miss and the method for taking your missed basket.
ALTERNATELY, you can gift your share to a friend/neighbour/family and have them pick up on your behalf (in this case, no need to let us know in advance).
Our online store has a changing list of seedlings, farm produce, flowers and local goods like eggs, mushrooms, preserves, honey, fruit and more! Please order no later than 2 day2 before your pick up and grab some local goodies with your CSA basket!
Private facebook group for CSA members to share recipes, helpful tips and hacks. We'll be posting behind the scenes from the farm and bringing in experts like chefs and nutritionists to help guide you through your CSA baskets.
We have partnered with The Nourish and Develop Foundation in nearby Cannington, ON to support their food bank and new mobile food market.
If you are able, please consider a contribution (of any amount) which will go 100% towards the purchase healthy, fresh vegetables for our community members in need.
Based in Brock Township, The Nourish and Develop Foundation (TNDF) is a food bank and more. Our organization works with local growers and grocers to make healthy food affordable and accessible. TNDF creates lighthearted, joyful and engaging programs for all ages. Program participants gather together, share great tasting food and flourish. To compliment these programs, TNDF supports individuals looking for affordable housing, employment and mental health services. We specialize in offering these supports to women leaving abusive relationships. Through our programs we alleviate the conditions that give rise to food insecurity and intimate partner violence as well as advocate for systemic changes. Together, we can nourish lives and develop change. To learn more about our work and how to join or support our programs visit www.tndf.ca
